     Our Community Pool is a six lane, 25 meter pool with a wading area, diving well, diving board and two fun slides! The pool will be open weekends only beginning Memorial Day weekend and will be open daily beginning on June 24, 2019 at 3PM for the summer through Labor Day. Pool hours are 11:00AM until 7:45PM. The pool area contains numerous extra add-ons to enhance the enjoyment of members. Available is one full court basketball court, tether ball court, shuffle board court, ping pong tables, two playground areas, 55" television and knock hockey tables. Chairs, recliners, snack tables and umbrellas are provided. They cannot be reserved and are on a first come, first serve basis. A snack bar is on premise and operated by a carefully chosen concessionaire. There are various membership categories, which are Family, Couple both Adult and Senior Citizen, Individual and Individual Senior Citizen. Registration forms will be available in the Recreation Office for new members and posted on our Facebook page. We also accept neighboring non-resident memberships.  Please visit us at the Recreation Department in North Caldwell Borough Hall on Gould Avenue for information.    


Swim Team

GO FIGHTING FISH!!! Our successful summer swim team, The Fighting Fish is always looking for new recruits. Practices begin daily once school is finished Monday through Friday 8AM-9AM. (There will be a few pre season practices mid June weather and temperature permitting during the week and sometimes on a Saturday). Generally the meets are held the last week of June through the third week of July, with divisional and championship meets held near the end of July.  Children that are pool members pay $60 to join swim team and non-members pay a fee of $100. This team is run by our head coach, Ally Barth and assistant coach, Emma Bossaert in conjunction with Fairfield Recreation. 

Swim Lessons

Five sessions of summer swim lessons are offered at the pool through our Swim School. You must be a member of the pool in order to participate in these classes. Five sessions will be run and every child is eligible for every session. Session one will run starting on June 25th through July 28th. Session two will run July 1st through July 5th (excluding July 4th). Session three will run July 8th through July 13th. Session four will run July 15th through July 19th. Session five will run July 22nd through July 26th. Swim School is instructed by lifeguards who are also certified WSI instructors and are qualified to teach children swim lessons. Swim School is from 11:00-11:45am.  Sessions are for five days and are $60 per session. 

The Community Pool also offers private swim lessons, which are one on one with our certified lifeguards. If interested in this, you need to fill out a form and sign up at the pool and pay at the Recreation office! Each lesson is $20.
