Household Trash Collection

Household trash is collected twice a week at each residence. Please have the trash receptacles visible from the driveway for the trash collectors to find easily. Residents are not required to bring receptacles to the curb.
The trash collection schedule and vendor changed as of August 1, 2018. Please refer to the schedule below. NOTE: There is no change to the recycling scheduled for co-mingled and paper/cardboard. For the Revised Trash Collection Schedule click here.
Should your normal collection fall on the following holidays, New Years, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas, your trash will be collected on your next scheduled collection day, not the next weekday.
Bulk Trash Collection
Residents with household trash collection on Monday/Thursday - Bulk is collected on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month
Residents with household trash collection on Tuesday/Friday - Bulk is collected on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month
(Effective as of 1/1/19)
Bulk garbage pickup does NOT include metal items. Metal bulk is picked up on the fourth (4th) Monday of each month at an additional cost of $25. Please submit the Metal Goods form under the Online Forms menu and mail/deliver it to Borough Hall with payment.
Paper/cardboard and commingled materials are collected curbside on alternating weeks. Recyclables must be placed at the curb by 7:00am on the collection day.

Containers should not be put out before 7:00 pm on Tuesday and must be removed by 8:00 pm on Wednesday.
Recycling Reminder....plastic bags not accepted.
Materials WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED if they are in plastic bags.
